Classic TV
Okay, honestly, I have no idea what this video is about. I figure it’s an old show on TV or something which DC made fun of or made a tribute to or whatever. I’m pretty young you see. 19 to be exact. And I live in Sweden. So unfortunately or fortunately I haven’t been blessed by this couple. Nonetheless though, I like this video. I’m impressed with the fact that DC plays both characters and that they sing so well together. And the woman’s voice… Damn, prepare yourself for nightmares!

This is a hilarious, spot-on parody of the beginning of a very popular American TV sitcom from the 1970’s called “All in the Family”. The man is Archie Bunker, and his wife is Edith. Archie was TV’s first prime time bigot: comedic and groundbreaking. Search on YouTube for clips; well worth your time. Even in Sweden, I’ll bet your parents have heard of Rob Reiner’s role as “meathead”. Sally Struthers also starred. Spinoffs include “Maude” and “The Jeffersons”.
Dude, this is a damn good impression of the main characters in the American television version of All In The Family which originally aired in Britain before being remade and becoming HUGE in North America during the 70’s. And it is definetly an UNFORTUNATE occurance that you have not been blessed with the entertainment of Archie Bunker (the original tv bigot) and his wife Edith. This clip is actually a rendition of the shows opening.
Wow, thanks guys, that was really informative! I’m gonna look it up!
